Dr Reid Mackay has taken the bandages from the leg of Mr Rober son's little boy To all appearance the break has knitted very satisfactorily. The leg was tied up for five weeks, so we may imagine the relief to the little sufferer, who has borne the infliction quite cheerfully. This has been the best lambing season for years, and doubtless the percentage of lambs will be high. " Some of the settlers have been very prompt in replying to the circular letter re resident doctor. Many more will, no doubt, reply by the 20th. Mr C. Smith, of Kiritaki, has many old friends in this neighbourhood who are pleased to hear of the approaching marriage in his family.
