(Per Press Association! Auckland, This day. The Manapouri, from the Islnads, experienced the full force of the hurricane at Vavau. The damage ashore was considerable. With few exceptions the cutters and boats were sunk, and all the traders' jettieß on the foreshore were demolished. Trees were uprooted, and there was an extensive loss of fruit and nuts, and vines. It is understood that Hopuai is not materially affected.
