Weber County Council.

A meeting of tbe finance committee of the Weber County Council wm held on Saturday, March 14. Present — Crs Franklin (chair), Bond, Jensen, Munro, Cripps and Gregorie. Eesolved (Crs Munro— Bond) that Jensen's account stand over until the Council's teamster had been interviewed on the matter of carting. Eesolved (Crs Cripps — Jensen) that the Council's overseer be instructed to value Patangata County property. Hesolved (Crs Jensen- Bool) that E. Gilbertson be written to asking him to appoint a date to meet tbe Weber Overseer for tbe purpose of valuing the Patangata County property. Ec Cullinane's account. — Eesolved (the chairman aud Cr Gregorie) that Cullinane ba paid only for 20yds of metal at ls 6d.

Eesolved (Crs Munro— Bond) that two chains (more or less) of metalling on Weber side of Lincoln road be left in tbe hands of the overseer.

Resolved (Crs Gregorie— Munro) that a culvert be inserted on Oporae road.

Tbe pay sheet amounting to L 219 os 3d was passed for payment on tbe motion of Crs Bond and Monro.

The meeting then adjourned until "Saturday, March 21st, at half-past t^n, when a meeting of tbe finance committee will be held.
