Weber Sports.
The Weber athletic sports were held yesterday on a paddock kindly lent for the occasion by Mr Jas. McKenzie. Considering the unpromising state of the weather, a high wind prevailing, there was a very fair attendance. The sports afforded the occasion for a pleasant reunion between the farmers and other residents of the district, and, needless to say, those present thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The officers were : — Messrs Jas. McKenzie, K. Cameron and A. McKenzie, judges; Messrs T. Colquhovm cmd A. Munro, handicappers; Mr A. M. Weavers, starter; Mr H. Poole secretary. Thanks to the energy displayed by Messrs Colquhoun, A. Munro and the secretary the events were got off promptly, and there wore no irritating delays. Mr M.
