When the amendment Jamie by the Council in the Keforni Bill came before the House the Premier immediately declared war against the Council. A few minor amendments were accepted, but the remainder were disagreed with, and the Bill was returned to the Council. Perth, Feb. 26. Mr Richard Baker, Commonwealth representative at the Delhi Durbar, has returned. He believes a good deal of indignation ?was felt by the natives against the Commonwealth Restriction Act. HoBART, Feb. 26. Parliament has dissolved. The elections will take place on April 2nd.
