. ♦ The Library Committee met last evening. Present— Messrs Webber (chairman), Thomson, Paul, Grant, Harvey. Bickford', F. J: Knight, and Newenham (secretary). j Accounts amounting to £o 18s 3d were passed for payment Resolved(MessrsThomsou-Biekford) that the chairman and secretary interview the Bandmaster and ask if the Band would give *n op**u nir dbneert in aid of the funds before the end of the year. . , Resolved that every effort, be; made to get in all outstanding subscriptions and any possible revenue. The Book Com uiittee reported having purchased aud placed ou the shelves in the library twelve new books.
