GOVERNMENT CAUCUS.
(in pkbsi Aißooxmox.; Welmhgton, This day. At the Government caucus to-day the proposal to send a New Zealand contingent to the Transvaal was generally approved. No definite unerstanding was arrived at regarding the bills to be gone on with this sesiion, and the matter was left in the bands of the Premier, who will make au announcement on the subjeot shortly. The Peemier stated that if i if business received reasonable desj patch the session should close three | weeks from now.
