Ladies who intend to be present at Mr G. Hunter's address at the Town Hall this evouing will see from a notice elsewhere that the side doors will be open for their admission from 7.30 o'clock. Mr Q. Hunter addressed a large meeting of electors at Maharahara on Thursday evening. His speech was similar to that delivered at Pourere. The candidate met with a favorabln reception and a good hearing, and at the conclusion vms accorded a rote of thanks and confidence. Mr W. W. Carlile has been nominated for the Waipawa seat.
