HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Wednesday, July 13. The House met at 2.30 p.m. A long discussion took place with regard to the action of the Railway Commissioners in stating that they were unable to run special working men's trains at low fai-es ns it would mean a loss. Mr Seddon said the Commissioners reply in this matter was unsatisfactory and almost impertinent. Several members defended the Commissioners from this attack, and tho subjoct then dropped. The House rose at 5.20.
