The usual monthly meeting of the above Commmittee was held in the schoolroom on Thursday night. Present—Messrs Packer (chair, Bovaird, Garforth and Skinner. The Headmaster's report was read as follows, and adopted :— Sirs,— l hay« the honor to make you niy usual monthly report for J une. The school re-open«d on Tuesday July fith, owing to the wet wither this day was substituted for Monday, I trust the Committee will endorse my action. I have to congratulate the Committee on the very satisfactory nature of the work done to the school playground, during an unusually wet winter it has kept firm and dry, and the same may be said of the school ofiicas in gene raj. I should be glad if the Committse would gravel the path from my door to the gate, and from my back door to the tank. It .is not pleasant to sink in mud over your boot t©pi every tiraa you go to get a kettle of water. Two panes of glass in the infant room still want mending. I should be glad to see this done at once. The work of the school has now started in good earnest and lam pleased to report that all ray assistants appear to be doing well. I trust tha Chairman will ex- | cuse these blots on the paper which have been caused by water falling on my desk from the roof where it leaks. Yours etc., J. C. Westalh. | The repairs asked for were placed in the hands of the Secretary to deal with. Accounts amounting to £4 10s were passed for payment. This was all the busineas.
