DETAILS OP MAIL ABOARD P.A. "WELLINGTON, this day. The Acting-Postmaster General, Mr. Jones, announced to-day that the plane recently reported overdue en route from the New Hebrides to Auckland, carried one bag of letters from N.Z.A.P.O, 361 to New Zealand, and three bags of letters and 2001b of second-class mail from N.Z.A.P.O. 308 to New Zealand: . • ■ Mr. Jones also announced to-day the partial resumption of the postal service to Malaya, Hongkong, Siam. and French Indo-China. The service at present is restricted to unregistered letters by surface or.airmail, but it is emphasised that delay in delivery may occur.
