I Winners of four of the events at the Auckland Tro'.ting Club's matinee meeting at Alexandra :Park to-morrow will qualify for more important races ahead, as these are for maiden performers. With £700 allotted by the club In prize money for this non-totalisator programme, an added inducement is offered maiden horses to graduate. There are weli-balanced fields and this type or meeting is popular with followers of the light harness sport. The progressive policy adopted by the club has tieen more than justified by the goodwill which nas accrued. The first race is timed to start at 1.30 p.m. and the final event at 3.5.
