REVIVE JAP TRADE

Assistance From America State Department OFFICIAL EXPLANATION Rec. 1 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 27. Wares branded "Made in Japan" will begin to arrive in America as scon as the Japanese can get their production reorganised and ships are available, says the Washington correspondent of the Wall Street Journal. An advisory economic committee of the State Department will go to Japan shortly to control and revive Japanese foreign trade. Although many manufacturers and consumers will oppose the revival of trade with Japan, Government experts believe that this is an inevitable though obnoxious detail of the fundamental policy for Japan. They point out that if Japanese economy is not revived it will lead to a revcit in Japan and require perpetual occupation forces.
