TOLD TO CONTROL HIMSELF

"Try to control yourself in future, unless you want to go to prison," Mr. J. Morling, S.M., told James F. Loftus, in the Police Court this morning, when Loftus was charged with using indecent language and with committing mischief by damaging two windows.

The police said the first charge resulted from an argument which took place in a railway carriage over the closing of a window on January 30, while the mischief was committed in Mount Eden on December 20, 1944. For use of the indecent language Loftus was fined £5 and on the mischief charge he was mulcted ■» further £2.
