Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 23
The Times correspondent says an outstanding example of the Germans helping themselves back from ruin and idleness to usefulness, Is the small town of Buxthehud, which in 14 weeks has completely restored its rail and road system, thus becoming a main link on the route from Cuxhaven to Hanover and Brunswick. It has also restarted all mills and food factories, also engineering works which were formerly arms producing and are now manufacturing agricultural implements. The population has risen from 7000 to 16,000, but there is no unemployment.
