ABILITY NOT LOOKS
Highland Scott would probably not win a prize on looks; but there are few faster pacers abotit than this sori of U Scott and Rustic Maid. His time, 4.21 3-5, wfs a good performance from a 4.29 mark in the Speedway Handicap on the first clay of the Metropolitan Trots, and it was little wonder that Scott Axworthy and Night Beam could make little impression on him over the last half-mile. His sectional times were: Two furlongs, 33 3-os; four furlongs. 1.5 4-5; mile, 2.13 2-5; mile and a half. 3.21. Highland Scott ra<£s in the interests of Mr. R. A. McKenzie who is a son of Mr. J. R. McKenzie, and he is on 36 yards in the Advance Handicap to-morrow.
