TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS

All parking and 'traffic arrangements are in the hands of the Mount Albert Borough Council, which will have the assistance of the police. Only vehicles carrying the official New Zealand Rugby Union sticker will be admitted to the tramway loop, and all parking will be prohibited in Sandringham Road between the New North Road and Reimers and Alton Avenues. In addition, no vehicles will be allowed to park in Ward Terrace, Cricket Avenue and Raleigh Street. Private cars travelling to Eden Park from the eastern and southern districts of the city are directed to proceed via Mount Eden Road, Dominion Road or Sandringham Road. They may park in any of the unrestricted streets on the Dominion Road side of Sandringham Road. After the match they are to depart via Mount Eden Road or Dominion Road, but will not be allowed in Sandringham Road.

Cars from the northern and western city districts are directed to travel via the New North Road or Sandringham Road, and 'may park in any of the unrestricted streets on the western side of that portion of Sandringham Road which lies north of Eden Park. After the match they may leave via Sandringham Road, the New North Road or Dominion Road, but they will not be allowed to proceed along that portion of Sandringham Road between Reimers and Alton Avenues and the New North Road intersection.

Provision has been made for taxis to travel to the park via Eden Terrace and Dominion Road through Belwood Avenue to Eeimers Avenue, returning to the city via Sandringham Road and Burnley Terrace. After 4 p.m. taxis will be allowed to park in Sandringham Road, between Walters Road and the tramway loop, provided they leave via Sandringham Road and Burnley Terrace. . Drivers of buses and service cars bringing passengers to Auckland from Waikato and northern districts are warned not to attempt to drive directly to the park, but to try to find parking space in suitable Mount Eden streets.
