SPANISH REPUBLICANS
Rec. noon MEXICO CITY, Aug. 22. President Barrio has asked Dr. Jose Giral, former Premier of Spain, to form a Spanish Republican Government. The Government must be approved by the Cortes, which will meet in Mexico. The Associated Press says that diplomatic circles indicate that most Latin-American Republics may shortly simultaneously sever relations with Franco Spain.
