PACER GAMBLE SOLD

The pacing stallion Gamble* by Jack Potts, clam of Princess Ann, was sold on account of M. B. Edwards and the estate ot the late T. Butcher by auction at Addington on Monday to Mr. u. b. Donald for 650 guineas. „ , , In addition to winning the New Zea.anrJ Derby Stakes in 1934 Gamble trained on to win several races, and to run second to Luckv Jack in the New Zealand Trotting Cup in 1937. Since being retired to the stud Gamble has sired Sprayman, winner of the Welcome Handicap and the New Zealand Sapling Stakes; Gamble King and other promising performers.
