The provincial amateur billiards championship was continued last evening, when W. Knott, 500 (breaks of 38, 38, 33, 38, 37) beat D. K. Porter, 411 (33). It was a well-contested match. Porter led at the 100 mark, and regained the lead at 350 Prom then on Knott played more consistently. K - Tat« will play B. Little at 7.30 this evening.
