Temporary-Lieutenant (A) Owen Keith Armitage, R.N.Z.N.y.R., has been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. Twenty-five years of age, he is the younger eon of Mrs. E. Armitage, of Milford* He wae educated at the Howick District High School and the Seddon Memorial Technical College. He Joined the Navy in 1940 and went to Canada, where he gained his commission ae a fighter pilot in the Fleet Air Arm.
