THIS VERANDAH OVER TWO SHOPFRONTS in Lower Victoria Street West collapsed yesterday afternoon as the i 'suit of a " touch " from a heavy truck. The supports, of the old-fashioned iron type, were not sufficiently strong to resist the impact, and the structure gracefully lowered itself to the footpath. No one was injured, but the upper panes of the shop occupied by Mr. A. J. Dodunski, grocer, were damaged.
