CZECHS' RETURN HOME

CONGRATUIiATIONS PROM N.Z. P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. The acting-Prime Minister, Mr. Nash, sent a message to the Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand, expressing New Zealand's congratulations on the Czechoslovakian Government's return to its liberated homeland, and the hope that complete freedom will quickly be achieved. "The refusal of the Czechoslovak people to compromise with Nazism, and their inflexible resistance to the Germans, will always inspire fighters for freedom. By these actions they won title to their country. They have aroused the respect and admiration of the world, as they did in the years before 1938 by their creative and scientific work and by their faith in and the works under a democratic government. We have confidence that the spirit which made all this possible remains unshaken."
