HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

The first council meeting of the year was held this week at the Nurses' Home, Park Road. Mrs. A. D. Campbell presided and welcomed Miss W. Delugar, the recently appointed lady superintendent. The work of the branches and subcommittees, covering a varied field of work, was reviewed. Christmas activities had been on a larger scale than usual with some excellent decorations to help the Christmas spirit along in the wards at the Public Hospital and also Green Lane Hospital. The hundreds of parcels for patients in hospital and outpatients were distributed by the district nurses.
