N.Z.E.F. Official News Service. CAIRO, March 21. During his Middle East visit the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, completed a full programme. He was the guest at luncheon on Sunday of the British Minister in Egypt, Sir Edward Grigg, a cousin of the late Major Grigg, M.P. for Mid-Canter-bury, who was killed with the New Zealand Division in the Middle East. New Zealand Air Force officers and other ranks spent two hours with Mr. Jordan on Sunday evening. New Zealand infantry exercises in the desert near Maadi Camp were watched by Mr. Jordan on Monday, another spectator being? Lieutenant C. W. Allfrey, General Officer Commanding British Troops in Egypt. The High Commissioner spoke to many men and later inspected the camp amenities, including new quarters being prepared for New Zealand Waacs.
