COMPLETELY GUTTED.

DWELLING AT PAPAKURA Fire completely gutted a fiveroomed house in Averill Street, Papakura, owned by Mr. Hugh Montgomerie, yesterday afternoon.. Mr. and Mrs. Montgomerie were out of the district at the time. Although the Papakura fire brigade arrived immediately after the alarm had been given, the fire had such a strong hold that practically nothing was saved. The dwelling was insured for £700 and the contents for £250.
