£3300 FROM FILM
PATRIOTIC FUNDS BENEFIT P.A. WELLINGTON, Friday. Provincial patriotic funds will benefit to the extent of £3301 from the screening in New Zealand of the film "Mr. Davis," which was produced by a British Army cinematograph unit and placed at the disposal of the New Zealand Government. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in notifying the Patriotic Board of the result, said he desired to place on record the appreciation of the Government of the efforts of exhibiting interests, the J. C. Williamson Picture Corporation and the Fullers' Theatre Corporation, and all who had contributed to the result.
