FATALLY WOUNDED

BOY PLAYING WITH PISTOL SOUVENIR OF LAST WAR P.A. INVERCARGILL, Friday. A shooting accident resulting in the death of a boy occurred to-night in Totara Street, Heidelberg, a suburb of Invercargill. The victim was Keith Thomas Lang, aged 14, son of Mr. H. L. Lang, 65, Conyers Street, Invercargill. Lang and two companions were playing with a German pistol, a souvenir of the last war. Lang put the pistol to his head and pulled the trigger. A bullet which was in the breach penetrated both temples. He was taken to hospital, but died en route.
