Second-Lieut. Mervyn Wickman, D.C.M., who has been reported killed in action, was the second eon of Mrs. and the late Mr. F. Wickman, of 8, Wahanui Road, Ellerslie. Lieutenant Wickman; was educated at the Remuera School. He was a keen member of the Green Lane Football and Cricket Clubs. He left for overseas in September, 1941.
