PLUMBING STANDARD

MARKED IMPROVEMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A marked improvement in the standard of workmanship in the practical test is reported by the examiners who conducted the Plumbers' Board of New Zealand examinations this year. The examiners state that of 66 candidates who presented themselves for the practical test, 39 obtained passes. A great improvement was shown in joint wiping on this occasion. Of 72 candidates who sat for the written part of the examination, 22 secured a pass and 13 candidates were successful in passing both portions of the examination.
