ST. ANDREW'S DAY
is St. Andrew's Day, dedicated to St. Andrew, the patron saint or Scotland. Festivals of the saints used to be observed as public holioays, but the practice has fallen into Qlsuse. Until a few years ago banks observed holidays on the saints' days, out recently they have to do so. and to-day they wwe open as Usual.
