CLOTHING COUPONS

NEW ISSUE TO MORROW

The six-monthly release of clothins coupons to-morrow is the subject of a statement by the rationing controller, Mr. J. E. Thomas. He states that clothing coupons in the new ration books will be released as follows: Nineteen clothing coupons (Nos. 41 to 59 on sheet 14) and four wool coupons (Nos. 7 to 10 on the same sheet) are interchangeable ana available for clothing, wool and household linen. Three linen coupons (Nos. 7 to 9 on sheet 15) are available for household linen only.

The result of this is that all clothing coupons may be used to purchase both white and coloured wool.

"Coupons in the supplementary ration books are not affected," states Mr. Thomas, "Hut are available from date of issue, and all clothing coupons except linen coupons may be used for purchasing wool as well as clothing."
