PINAL MATCH ON SATURDAY
The meeting of Naval Depot and MetroCollege at Blandford Park on Saturday will be a dual fixture, as it is the Falcon Cup knocß-out final and will also be part of the medal round. This game is in effect a replay of the championship final, which Metro-College won by the only goal scored, from a penalty. The •question of playing the match as a dual fixture was discussed by the control board of the Auckland Football Association last 11 It \vas resolved to send an Auckland B side to Hamilton to play South Auckland lor the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield on September 30. Mr. H. J. Wahloi-s was appointed manager and the selection of the team was left to Mr. J. was received from the Wellington association regarding a proposed matoh between Auckland and Wellington at Blandford p«rfc on September 30 for the Frank Campbell Rose ISwl. Itwas resolved to notify Wellington that it-was now impossible to consider the proP( ln UO vieW of the fact that the Air Force B (Ardmore) and Eden second division teams had included Players who were Ineligible. It was decided that their match be replayed. Following are the fixtures for next Saturday.— la con Cup Knal.-Metro-CoUew v. Blandford Park, 3 p.m.. Mr. c. G. Edwards Medal Round.—Eastern Suburbs v. Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys. Blandford Park, 1.30 p.m., Mr Page North Shore v. Ardmore. Devonport. 3 p.m. Mr. J. Hitchens; Comrades v Ponsonby, Outer Domain No. 1, 2.30 p.m., Mr. B. Second Division.-Dacre Cup Semi-fmal. Onehunea A v. Comrades, Outer Domain No. 2. 3pm Mr. B. Dynes. Replay: Air Force (Ardmore) v. Eden, St. Heller's Bay, 3 p.m.
