CURTIN AND EVATT TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND

Matters Concerning Pact To Be Discussed N.Z. Press Association—Copyright Rec. 2.30 p.m. SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Curtin, Prime Minister, is expected to visit New Zealand next month to confer with the Dominion Government, reports the political correspondent of the Sydney Daily Telegraph. He is expected to be accompanied by the Minister for External Affairs, Dr. Evatt. Although no definite date for the j conference between representatives \ of the two Governments has been j fixed, the meeting is likely to be held ■
as soon as possible after the Aus- - t.ralian Parliament adjourns. The Z Federal Parliament is expected to adjourn about the end of September, after which Mr. Curtin will preside at a brief conference of State Premiers in Canberra. The New Zealand conference will discuss matters arising from the Australia-New Zealand agreement, signed in Canberra last January. Other subjects of mutual interest will also be dealt with.
