Auckland insurance offices have received cabled advice from the Institute of London Underwriters or reductions in the marine war risk schedule. The new rates, with those previously ruling shown in parentheses, are:—South American, Atlantic and Pacific ports, to and from Australia, New Zealand r.nd Pacific Islands, via the Cape, ) per cent (4 per cent); West Indies, to and from Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, via the Cape, 3\<2 per cent (4 per cent); ditto, via Mediterranean, 5 per cent (6 per cent); ditto, via, Panama, IV2 per cent (Australia and New Zealand IV2 per cent. Pacific Islands 2 per cent); Persian Gulf, to and from Australia or New Zealand, 4 per cent (5 per cent); Australia or New Zealand, to or from North African Mediterranean ports In Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, Including Malta, 6 per cent (6 per cent); ditto, Africa, north and west of Cape Palmas. Including islands, 4 1 ,** per cent (S 1 per cent); Africa, not north and west of Oape Palm as on the west coast and south of the Equator on tho east coast, including Islands, but excluding the Union of South Africa, 4 per cent (5 per cent); ditto. Union of South Africa, 3 per cont (4 per cent); ditto, Madagascar, Reunion and Mauritius direct, 3*2 Per cent (4 per cent); ditto. Red Sea, Suez.
