RETURNED ARMY SISTERS
CUUBROO-AI IN U.S.A. BUILDING The Returned Army Nursing Sisters' Association has for a long time felt the need of a central meeting place, and the executive has now obtained accommodation ill U.S.A. Building, High Street, third floor. This has been tastefully furnished, and is now open daily for members' use. The executive and furnishing committee met recently, special guests being Mrs. J. A. C. Allum, Mayoress, and Miss E. M. Nutsey, R.R.C., former matron-in-chief of the nursing services in the Middle East, and patron of the association. Each was presented with a bouquet by the president, Miss E. P. Stanton, who afterwards entertained all present to afternoon tea in the R.S.A. cafeteria.
Mrs. Allum congratulated the executive on their enterprise, and said she felt that the clubroom would be specially appreciated by the present members of the service now returning from overseas.
The clubroom will be opened daily from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., and a hostess will be present during these hours. Appreciation is expressed of all donations received from various sources towards the furnishing and equipment of the clubrooms.
