Old Diggers, who form a considerable proportion of Mt. Eden Home Guard, as well as other members of the battalion, who have now formed themselves into an association, will no doubt find much to interest them in the next social, to be held to-morrow evening. Lieutenant C. Carter, D.C.M., who had extensive service in the Middle East, will give an address on modern warfare, and in addition there will be the usual programme of entertainment, St. Barnabas .Hall, Bellevue Rd., is the place, and 7.00 is the time.
