TWO MORE N.Z. AIRMEN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this clay J The awarding of two Distinguished Flying Crosses to New Zealand airmen was announced to-day. The first award is to Flight-Lieutenant Charles Henry Lattimer, of New Plymouth, who has destroyed at least four enemy aircraft. Flight-Lieutenant Lattimer, who was born in England, worked for the New Plymouth Borough Council before the war. The second award is to Pilot-Officer Harold John King, of Wellington. Pilot-Officer King, who was born in Dunedin, was educated in Wellington. His mother is Mrs. C. King, of Wellington.
