St. Andrew's Auxiliary. — The monthly meeting was held in the Fabian Club rooms, Mrs. Shields presiding. Mr. J. W. Shaw spoke on the children of Scottish parents in New Zealand and of their childhood. He quoted many rhymes and verses of 100 years ago. He also read song and verse from a book 128 years old. "Verses written by Roger and Miller also gave nursery rhymes as written in Scottish tongue.
