AUCKLAND OFFICE BEAKERS Trotting appears to be booming in more ways than one, judging by the numbers of nominations received by the Auckland Trotting Club for office bearers for the 1944-45 season. Voting will be necessary for both committee and stewards, the nominations exceeding the number required by four in the case of the committee and Ave for stewards, as follows: For committee (five required).—Messrs. A. M. Bartley, B. W. Beaumont, G. W. H. Bull, C. Cowan, G. A. MclCendrick, M. G. Pezaro, S. E. Scott, A. E. Watkins, A. K. Wilson. Messrs. Beaumont, Bull, Fezaro and Watkins are present members, Mr. R. Wright not seeking re-election. For Stewards (eight required).—Messrs. A. M. Bartley, J. P. Kalaugher, H. T. King, W. W. Massey, C. F. Nicholson, C. J. W. Taylor, S. Ward, H. W. Coyle, W. Donald, R. J. Elliott, W. M. King, J. E. Taylor and R. H. Weeks. Messrs. Bartley, Kalaugher, King, Massey, Nicholson, C. J. W. Taylor and S. Ward are present members. The annual meeting will be held on July 19.
