OBITUARY

MISS MARY K. TWOHILL (0.C.) THAMES, this day. A well-known resident of Thames, Miss Mary Kate Twohill, popular proprietress of the Brian Boru Hotel for the last 40 years, died last night. She was keenly interested in all branches of sport. She was a life member of the Thames Jockey Club and Thames Trotting Club, and a vice-president of the Rugby union and cricket association. Miss Twohill was a generous donor of many trophies to the trotting and jockey clubs. She is survived by a sister.
