MANPOWER CONTROL
MR. BOCKETT S DUAL ROLE (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The amalgamation of the positions of Director of National Service and Controller of Manpower, following the relinquishment of the former post by Mr. J. S. Hunter to undertake duties in connection with the organisation of national development, was. announed to-night by the Minister of National Service, Mr. McLagan. The combined position will be filled by the appointment of Mr. H. L. Bockett, the present Controller of Manpower.
