SPECIAL ALLOWANCES

Inquiries have been made lately at the Food Controller's olnce whether doctors' certificates previously held by some people to obtain preferential distribution of eggs are still applicable. The food controller states that such certificates must be renewed as soon as possible and presented to the rationing office before March 20. Special coupons will be issued to those concerned, who must then register with their respective retailers. Unless this is done no preferential eggs will be sold to anyone after that date. Beginning on March 20 Coupons number 21 will be available for the on Coupons number 1 to will then be: cancelled.
