COMFORTS APPRECIATED

WELLINGTON, this day

Toward the end of last year the Patriotic Fund Board received from New Zealand personnel at Tonga a cheque for £25 in appreciation of comforts and amenities provided for them. The officers have also expressed thanks, a cheque for £76 12/4 having been forwarded recently on their behalf. Of this £50 is to be used in the interests of prisoners of war and the balance for general patriotic purposes.
