SERVICE WEDDING

ANDREE—HERBERT A service wedding was celebrated at Auckland on February 11 when Douglas R. Andree, G.M.Ic., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Andree, Michigan, was married to Violet (Waaf), only daughter of the late Sergeant Charles J. Herbert, New Zealand Railway Operating Corp, and late Margaret Herbert, of Riccarton, Christchurch. Chaplain Peterson, U.S.N., officiated, while G.M.2c. M. Acuna was best man and Mrs. M. H. T. McMahon, aunt of the bride, acted as matron of honour. Later a reception was held at the residence of the aunt in Khyber Pass Road.
