CONSENT TO SALE SOUGHT
Consent to the sale at £3300 cash of two freehold vacant sections in the business zone in Tamaki Drive St. Helier's, was sought before the Auckland Urban Land Sales Committee yesterday. A private valuation was made by David Moir, real estate agent and valuer of St. Helier's, at £3465, and the valuation of the State valuer, W. Chilcot.t, was £2725; The vendor was Lawrence Edward Bradley, and the purchaser Thomas George Mullan. Each section had a frontage of 19ft 6in, and the total area was 36 perches. c . The State valuer said an old building in use as a boarding house would prevent continuity between shops already erected, and any that might be built on tne sites under discussion. t! P" he would agree substantially with Mr. Moirs valuation. Decision was reserved. Consent was given to the sale of a section in Burrows Avenue Parnell at £750. The vendor was John Richard Sutton, and the purchasers Frederick Hope Taylor and Chai lotte Taylor. The section covered nearly half an acre, and had an irregular frontage of approximately 100 ft. Decision was reserved when permission was sought for the sale of five vacant freehold sections in lakanuna, near the Devonport Borough boundary. The vendor sought £915 cash, based on a private valuation, and the valuation of the State valuer, Mr. Chilcott, was £360 Tiie vendor was Geoffrey Squire Radley, and the purchaser, Bruce Radley, Ltd.
