CHILDREN ENTERTAINED
Children of Birkenhead men serving overseas, and also children to the age of 12 of members of the Birkenhead R.S.A. were entertained by the Birkenhead Patriotic Committee with the co-operation of the R.S.A. at a Christmas party on Saturday. Sports and a treasure hunt were held, the 84 children each receiving a gift from the Christmas tree. Approximately 200 mothers took part.
