Women And Church
URGED TO GET RID OF HITLER

LONDON, Dec. 12,
Moscow radio, broadcasting to the German women, declared: "The decisions taken at Teheran will be implemented soon. The overwhelming might of the United Nations will strike against Germany. Thousands upon thousands of you will become widows and many more will never see your sons again, just because of that madman Hitler. It is your duty to save your husbands and sons from that terrible slaughter—get rid of that maniac."
Moscow radio also broadcast a Lutheran church service to Germany in which the preacher urged the Germans to start a holy war against Hitler. "Hitler is sending to their death millions of our children," said the preacher, "and causing death to many more millions. German women and men, this is the evil power which is driving Germany to her doom and preventing her salvation. It is our duty to fight this power for the salvation of our Fatherland. The struggle against Hitler is a holy war."
