Rec. 2 p.m. CANBERRA, this day/ proposals for a £3,000,000-drive against tuberculosis in Australia have been adopted by a conference of Federal and State Health Ministers. Approval has been given for the expenditure of more than £300 000 for venereal disease treatments. Recommendations to the conference came from the National Health Council. . New South Wales also submitted a tuberculosis pension plan estimated to cost £1,000,000. It suggests the payment of £3 6/6 for a man, his wife and four children. The conference approved this plan.
