FASCIST LEADERS

AUCKLAND PROTEST A mass meeting of Auckland building trade workers, held in the Auckland Town Hall this morning, resolved to protest emphatically against the release of the Fascist leaders in Britain, and to support any action which the British trade union movement might take to secure their reimprisonment. In an attendance of 4500, there was only one dissentient. It was announced to the meeting that the Auckland Trades Council had requested the New Zealand Federation of Labour to cable Mr. Morrison to express the opposition of the-New Zealand Labour movement for the release of the leaders.
